How it happened and why we did it

Studio KIND. came about through a beautiful overlapping array of contacts, connections and circumstance. The one single unifying event was the pandemic. It was during the first lockdown, on a long family bike ride, that I decided to embrace my two long-term loves - community and art - with one single project.
Once I had committed to that idea it came together fast, and Laura, my energetic and inspired co-director, ramped up the speed and the aspirations. The differences in our experience and age make for a dynamic collaboration that has our shared ambitions at its core; to develop a project that brings the creative community together to share, challenge and learn.
