Our current exhibiting artist, Louise Hall, will be leading a brilliant fabric collaging workshop, where you will have the opportunity to use lots of different fabrics to create shapes and patterns.

Turn yourself into a pumpkin, a witch, a ghoul, a goblin or even a dragon or mermaid, the possibilities are endless.


Make a sustainable Halloween costume from paper and biodegradable materials, inspired by the crepe paper costumes of the 1920s.

Rosie’s workshops will focus on printmaking and will explore our natural environment using lots of texture and colour. Why not have a go at creating mono and collagraph prints inspired by the Devon countryside?

Local artist duo Sharon and Jason Gale, known as ‘Quiet British Accent’ will be bringing their seaside-inspired workshops to Studio KIND. this summer. Have a go at coin rubbing, stamping, and printing. These workshops are supported by The Burton in Bideford, and you can catch Quiet British Accent on the road as part of The Burton’s Art Box.

Recycled paper crafting: Time to create with household materials this half term!


Add whatever you can think of to cardboard rolls to make rockets, fish, butterfly's or bats!

Painting cereal boxes can make a colourful wall hanging or bunting!  You'll be surprised with what you can do with your recycling from home.

Come and join artist Ian Andrews and explore links between art and science. These workshops give young people a chance to learn about elemental particles that create the universe around us and then imagine what they might look like and create their own characters based upon them using drawing and collage. Develop cartoon characters based on the fabulously fast photon and the horrendously heavy top quark! No science knowledge is required.
